Manthorpe GL250 Loft Access Door (GL250) GL250 is a low profile contemporary design loft hatch that will suit modern decor. The hatch is very well insulated and airtight. Low air penetration has been achieved by improving closing mechanism. Now it features multi-point catch which works almost like extra seal keeping all parts close together. The GL250 has been independently tested by the BRE to BS EN 13141-1:2004, and easily surpasses the requirements for air leakage which are outlined in the current building standards, certification is available. Hinges are not visible when the hatch is closed due to their special positioning. Locking mechanism or hinges are not interfering with door seals helping to meet the air leakage requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations and preventing the problem of moist warm air entering.
